AQUATICS
We offer Learn to Swim lessons for any ability level of swimmer aged 3 years – 12 years old, from a nervous beginner through to advanced swimmers wanting to progress their stroke technique. Our highly qualified and experienced swim teachers provide a safe, engaging and fun lesson environment where children can grow in confidence whilst making friends. As the first and only Swim England provider in Qatar, our lessons use game-based learning to ensure swimmers develop skills to keep them safe and build essential techniques allowing them progress through the Learn to Swim framework. All our group lessons are based on ability level, which supports every child’s progression at their own pace and helps even our complete beginners to feel comfortable during their lessons.
Ladies Only
As well as lessons for children, Artemex also offers Ladies Only learn to swim and fitness training. These classes are delivered by female coaches to ensure our ladies feel safe and comfortable whilst learning a new skill. Every member is different and from the very first class our coaches will listen to the needs of our new members and help construct a programme that caters to individual goal. Whether this be to build confidence for play time with your children in a swimming pool or complete the challenge of learning a new stroke, our coaches are ready to help.
Parent and Baby
At Artemex Aquatics, we understand how important swimming and water confidence is, and we believe that journey should start as babies. We offer a weekly parent and baby class to provide the opportunity for a safe and controlled introduction to swimming for babies from 6 months old – 3 years. Our classes use age appropriate play and toys to keep our swimmers engaged and build a positive relationship in water that can last a lifetime.
Northview Head of Aquatics
Alex has 6 years of experience swim teaching and managing swim schools in Qatar. As Director of Aquatics, she oversees the day-to-day running and growth of the swim programme at Artemex. Alex aims to build and develop an aquatics programme providing options for all; encouraging as many community members as possible to learn and enjoy the life skill of swimming.
